Obama's ties to William Ayers, the speech was basically about how a terrorist has now infiltrated the White House. The speeches were meant to inform, not persuade, and the speeches were supposed to include two sources which should be named during the speech, but the person had none, I could tell some people in my class were getting uncomfortable including the teacher, what do you think about this?How would you feel? In my class we were supposed to give informative speeches, but someone chose to rant about?

I'm sure other people in class ';ranted'; about how great it is to have Barack Hussein Obama as the new President.





Chances are . . . . the guy who ranted about William Ayers didn't enjoy that speech, now, did he?





We all need to listen to each other. If I was the teacher, I'd have you write a summary of an OPPOSING view, to see if you were really listening, . . . or just tuning the person out.





We are all Americans and we all are in this ';boat'; together. We have to work together.





I voted McCain, and I sure don't like Barack Hussein Obama, but I'm willing to sit and ';listen'; and discuss any point with anyone. Your teacher sounds like he/she did a good job.

the GOP portrayed Obama as being ';pals'; with Ayers, who was portrayed as a KNOWN TERRORIST.





And..many Republicans bought into this.


In reality.. Ayers WAS AN ANTI WAR ACTIVIST in the 60s, and involved with extremist groups.


The question.. who is he TODAY, and are the connections even ';pals';??


He now is a settled member of the community, and Obama's involvement was minimal.


The source?? Sarah Palin and the GOP. And most rational persons realize it was an exaggeration with no substance.
I would say that is very informative.

Obama supporters do not want to face the truths.

For the sad and misinformed. Most of whom didn't live through the period, the speaker is correct. Ayers and his wife were both members of the SDS. She was convicted. He lucked out and was released because the prosecuting attorney messed it up. They bombed federal and other public and private buildings and killed cops. Those cop are still dead and you libs idolize them.
well if you would open your eyes to the facts before he was in office, like the idiots that voted for him should have done you would not have these uncomfortable feelings because he would not be in office, congrats to the ignorant that voted him in, may you live happily with your choice through this depression we are headed for!

President Elect Barack Obama but we should use the facts and not





just rantings. Your teacher probably will tell the student how he





could be more effective in the future.
I would say that if this is true, the person probably won't get a very good grade.





But alas this is America and he/she can choose to talk about whatever he/she likes. If they are willing to take the hit for the grade.. so be it.
People who rant are the ones who usually do not have anything to contribute that would be informative.
I think he should get into politics and work for the GOP in the next election...that's what they did.
