How do you put a lock code on your messages on the Samsung Rant?

I want to be able to lock my messages so that you have to use the security code to be able to read them.How do you put a lock code on your messages on the Samsung Rant?
I don't really have a Samsung phone but you could probably go under settings%26gt;security%26gt;(and there will probably be security options like: Security code: phone lock: and etc...) I don't know if you can put a lock on messages and documents on your phone but there's a high chance that there will be a phone lock so when you turn on your phone it request's a security code. hope it helps,

go to phone settings. and then security. and then just lock ur phone. then nobody can read ur txts unless they have the code :)
