What to do when I receive rant mail from someone changing their avatar and name?

I have been receiving rants and derogatory emails from someone who

resents my being friends online with someone. How they know this I

don't know. I would like to block them, but they use a profile and use

a different name with each. They use my avatar mail to reach me.What to do when I receive rant mail from someone changing their avatar and name?
Privatize your Yahoo Answers Profile.

Click My Profile in the green box at the top right of the Yahoo Answers page to open your profile.

When your profile page opens, click ';Edit My Info.';

Un-check all of the boxes in the privacy section, so your email address will not be exposed.

Go to the bottom and click Preview, then OK.

When you get this type of Email, check the box next to it, go to the top of the list and click the Spam button. This will place the senders in your blocked addresses list.What to do when I receive rant mail from someone changing their avatar and name?
No problem, Shotsie's advice is good too!

Report Abuse

Yahoo knows the account owners, no matter how often they change their avatars and screen names. You can always report them for stalking/harrassing to: y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (the missing e is intentional). Forward the original messages and also provide a link to the profile if possible.

Here's how to do the forwarding bit: click the crtl key and at the same time click the ';forward'; button to forward a message as an attachment, mac users should click the ';apple'; key and click ';forward'; simultaneously.
