The best way to do that is to record the rant (I'm old and not exactly sure what a rant is, but gather it is some sort of audio?) on your Windows Sound Recorder.
To open your sound recorder, click Start, All Programs, Accessories. Sound Recorder should be in the list. Click on it to open it on your desktop.
If your microphone is working, press the Start Recording button. Record your rant (audio). Click Stop when you are done. Name the audio file and save it to your desktop (where it is easier to find and import).
Now the audio is in .wma format and can be imported into WMM. You can create as many files as you like this way. I use Microsoft's Sound Recorder because it is easier to use than the WMM audio recording feature.
Once you have ';all'; or your rant files on the time-line of WMM, press play in the preview pane. I take it you are not including video in the project, but just want the rant recorded?? If so, you are ready to Publish the project.
%26gt; Click on View, Tasks to open the task pane in WMM
%26gt; Click on Publish to ------
%26gt; This computer
%26gt; Name the file and choose a location to publish it to
%26gt; Click Next
%26gt; Choose: Best quality for playback on my computer (recommended)
%26gt; Click Publish
The audio will be published to the location you chose and will be a .wma file (audio file). Once published, you can play it on WMP, upload it, email it or burn it to CD/DVD.
