How do i view sent text messages on a samsung rant?

I know there is no outbox, but everyone says that when I view a conversation it should say like me:hey whats up? and then the other person. I see everything the other person says but I never see what I said. So sometimes when someone texts me and I don't remember what were talking about I feel really stupid asking them all the time.How do i view sent text messages on a samsung rant?
You can only see wat uve sent if you choose save and send rather than send only.
