The episode titled 'Oceans Three-and-a-Half' originally aired with the Christian Bale rant inserted in the scene where Peter and the guys plan the heist and they proceed to have a 'conversation.' Turn on commentary. Seth and crew are always explaining the what's and the why's in on the commentary. I bet it is because they didn't get permission from Christian Bale to use his voice on a DVD that is being sold.Why is the Christian Bale rant against Peter NOT in the Season 7 DVD of Family Guy?
My guess would be because it was too long and it was pretty much a ';joke of the week';. It got a lot of press at the time but soon forgotten. I was probably deleted from the DVD versions because it would make little sense to the future watchers.
