Boost does not use a sim so it would do you no good to unlock it. You can only unlock phones that have sims.How hard is it to unlock the samsung rant to work for boost mobile?
Your Rant is a Sprint phone , am I correct? It is a Cdma/non sim card phone. Boost mobile walkie talkie phone network uses a sim card technology called iden. They are completely incompatible.





The ONLY possiblity of getting your Sprint phone on Boost, is using the OTHER Boost network. It is called Unlimited by Boost and it is still around. They don't advertise it any more. It runs on Sprint's cdma network and does NOT use a walkie talkie..





The only real way to do it is buy an original Boost Motorola C290, W385 or Krzr K1m, open a Unlimited by Boost account , later tell them you damaged the phone and want to replace it with your Rant. Find a cool, kind understanding customer service rep and see if they will activate it for you. It is hit or miss, but it is possible.

Only Boost phones and Nextel phones work with Boost. Boost does not use sim cards.
